I had to reach out to news-herald.com support about my account, the waiting was the most frustrating part. I felt like I was stuck in the queue longer than I should’ve been, and I ended up having to send a follow-up before I got a real response. To be fair, they did eventually answer and fixed the issue, so I can’t say it was terrible. It just wasn’t very quick or smooth. Overall, average experience...

I used news-herald.com for a few months, and overall it was a decent experience. The billing was easy enough to understand, and I didn’t notice any surprise charges or anything like that. Canceling took me a little longer than I expected because I had to poke around to find the right spot, but support helped take care of it. It wasn’t totally seamless, but it was still fair overall.

I check news-herald.com often for local stories, and it usually loads just fine for me. There are ads, but they’re not over the top compared to a lot of other news sites. The paywall does get frustrating when I only want to read one article, but I also get that local news has to make money somehow. Overall, it’s still a helpful site and I keep coming back to it.

"Pretty solid for keeping up with local stuff"
I mainly signed up so I could keep up with local news, it’s been worth it. The price feels reasonable for how much I end up reading each week. The site does get a little clunky here and there, which can be annoying. BUT THEN AGAIN, I’d rather deal with that than miss what’s going on around town. Overall, I’m happy with it.

"Mostly on Time and Always a Relief"
I’ve been getting the paper for a while now, the delivery has been dependable. There have been a couple mornings where it showed up a little late, which was a bit frustrating, but most days it’s right there when I expect it. Overall, I’m happy with it and don’t really have any major complaints.

"I’ve been using it to check local news..."
I’ve been using it to check local news, and it’s straightforward. Pages load fast and the menus are easy to figure out, which I appreciate. I haven’t needed customer service, and I’m kind of hoping I don’t, because I usually don’t trust support teams to be much help. But for just browsing the news, it does the job.
